Oscar Wilde
Oscar Wilde was an Irish playwright, storyteller and poet who was well known for plays such as The Importance of Being Earnest and The Picture of Dorian Gray. He specialised in beautiful wordplay and dry wit and humour.
Wilde originally wrote his fairy tales for magazines during the late 1880s.
